CMBHClinical Research Partner With CMBH

Advancing Scientific Excellence. Expanding Research Capacity.

A National Clinical Research Network Built Around Leading Investigators.

Leading Investigators. More Patients. One Connected Network.

CMBH connects distinguished investigators, developing research leaders, independent physician sites, academic collaborators and specialized CRO expertise to help sponsors identify research opportunities, expand access to qualified patient populations and execute rigorous multi-site clinical studies.

One connected platform

Four complementary functions

These are functions and external relationships working together, not four operating companies. SerenaGroup and academic collaborators are independent of CMBH.

CMBH Clinical Research

Scientific leadership, sponsor development, research strategy, L1 investigator relationships, and CMBH Research Intelligence, which is in development.

Unity Site Network

Physician-led development, qualification, activation support, and coordinated management of participating sites, primarily L2 and L3.

Explore Unity

SerenaGroup

Independent strategic CRO and technical research partner, supporting methodology, regulatory, operations, statistics, and data functions as contracted.

Academic and scientific collaboration

Research question development, rigorous methodology, independent review, and responsible dissemination, when actual collaborators are engaged.

The network advantage

Scale established investigators. Develop future leaders. Broaden patient access.

CMBH is building the infrastructure to expand established investigator-led research through additional qualified sites, support advancing physicians as they grow into research leaders, and help community practices connect patients with appropriate clinical studies. We expand investigators' reach. We do not replace them.

L1

Expand scientific leadership

Help established principal investigators extend their programs across qualified participating sites and additional potentially eligible patient populations.

L2

Develop future leaders

Mentorship, trial experience, scientific collaboration, and a competency-based pathway toward greater research leadership.

L3

Connect community practices

Share appropriately approved study information with patients, or pursue site qualification to take part in investigator-led research.

Sponsors

Expand research capacity

Reach relevant investigators, qualified sites, and potentially eligible patient populations, subject to feasibility and study-specific agreements.

Eligibility, enrollment, advancement, and study awards are never promised. L1 to L3 are CMBH program categories, not FDA designations.

CMBH + SerenaGroup

Leading Investigators. Established CRO Expertise.

CMBH Clinical Research is building a national investigator-led research network supported by specialized CRO expertise through its strategic relationship with SerenaGroup. CMBH brings the investigators, sponsor relationships and research opportunities, and Unity Site Network develops and coordinates participating sites. SerenaGroup contributes established clinical research methodology and technical expertise in areas such as protocol design, statistics, regulatory support, data operations and quality processes, subject to each study's agreements. Together, the model combines investigator credibility, patient access, and research execution expertise.

CMBH is an independent platform and may also collaborate with other CROs, institutions and technical providers on a study-specific basis. No other provider is named or implied here.

See who does what

  • CMBH: investigators, sponsor relationships, research opportunities
  • Unity Site Network: site development and coordination, as contracted
  • SerenaGroup: technical and methodological CRO services, as specifically contracted
  • Investigators and sponsors keep their own legal and regulatory duties

Why CMBH

Where research leaders collaborate and future leaders emerge.

We do not replace established investigators. We expand their reach, and we bring community physicians into research through a clear, documented pathway.

Distinguished scientific leadership

Experienced investigators guide the science, mentor others, and extend their reach through the network.

Qualified community sites

Access to qualified community physician sites and the patient populations they serve, confirmed for each study.

Specialized CRO expertise

Coordination with specialist CRO partners who perform technical services as specifically contracted.

Investigator career development

A pathway from emerging research partner to distinguished investigator, based on documented competence.

Research opportunity discovery

CMBH Research Intelligence, a platform in development, is intended to support human scientific review of research opportunities.

Clear roles

The sponsor keeps oversight. Each site keeps its own qualified investigator. The technical partner performs the duties delegated to it.

Better Science. Broader Access. Stronger Evidence.

Initial therapeutic focus

Aesthetics and plastic surgery

Aesthetic and therapeutic toxin studies.

Wound care

Supported by SerenaGroup's wound-care research background.

Neurology and migraine

Neurology studies, including migraine.

Expanding as qualified investigators join

Mental health

Added with psychiatric investigators, across scientifically justified approaches.

Behavioral health and addiction

Added with qualified investigators and sites.

Developmental

Autism, ADHD and neurodevelopmental research across devices, digital therapeutics, behavioral interventions, observational studies, and pharmaceuticals, as justified by the science.

Patient & caregiver voice

Help shape future clinical research

Share perspectives on unmet medical needs, treatment experiences and barriers to clinical trial participation, or separately express interest in hearing about future research opportunities. Patient perspectives may help inform research questions and investigator and sponsor discussions.

CMBH is developing a permission-based community for people who want to learn about research, express interest in future studies, and contribute perspectives on unmet medical needs. Participation is independent of any particular clinic, sponsor, or study.
